Susanna Helen Mensch, 84, formerly of Aristes, died Tuesday at Emmanuel Center, Danville, where she was a resident for the past seven years.
Born in Aristes, Sept. 19, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Elsie Beaver Williams.
A lifelong resident of Aristes, she graduated from Conyngham High School.
She was employed as a seamstress in the local garment factories.
In 1947, she married George Mensch, who preceded her in death.
Helen was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Aristes Fire Company and the Senior Citizens.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susanne Heckler; two sisters, Alice Brassington and Charlotte Roberts; a brother, Harold Williams; and a niece, Gloria Jean Brassington.
