Jeanette Peters Van Dyke was the youngest child out of five of of Karl ( b. Baden Baden Germany) and Margareta Stonebarger Peters of Greenup, Illinois.

Obituary:
Mrs. Jeanette Van Dyke,86,of Richmond, Indiana, died Sunday morning in Reid Memorial Hospital in that city. The deceased had been a resident of Greenup, Illinois most of her life until 10 years ago when she moved to Richmond to live with her son, Dr. George D. Van Dyke.
The body was brought to Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup and will be taken to Greenup Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. today, at which time graveside funeral services will be held.
Mrs. Van Dyke had recovered from a month's long illness sufficiently to be out of bed Thursday but on that day she broke her hip in a fall and was taken to the hospital where she passed away. Her husband, James W. Van Dyke of Greenup, preceded her in death in 1933.
Survivors are Walter of Casey, Illinois, George D. of Richmond, Indiana, James(Jim) of of Greenup; two daughters, Mrs. Golda Crutcher of Los Angeles and Mrs. Pearl Shoe of Peach Orchard, Arkansas.
