Son of Christian Koser and Esther Kohler he married 1837 in Mifflin Co. Pa Sarah Shellenberger. They later located in Lawrence Co. Pa. They were the parents of 7 children; Mary, Sarah, Abner, Lucinda, Malinda, Levi,and Emma. He was a Carpenter and later in life a farmer.
