"MINICH----At Loysville, Pa., on the 16th of April, 1874, Anna Mary, wife
of Daniel Minich, after an illness of one week, fell sweetly asleep in
Jesus.

Deceased was born in Greenwich township, Berks County, Pa., on the 4th day of August, 1803, and had eached, at her death, the full measure of "three-score years and ten"---70 years, 8 months and 12 days. She was baptized in infancy, by Rev. Overhaus, and at an early age became a member of the Lutheran church, in which she remained for many years a consistent and praying communicant. She was truly a pious "Anna," waiting, in calm hope and faithful service, the wished for summons "to depart." She knew that "to be with Christ is far better." Sister Minich was the mother of eleven children---ten sons and one daughter. Of the sons, three had preceded her to the grave. Eight of her children, with the husband and a large number of grand and great-grand children, are left to mourn her departure, cherish her memory, and emulate her virtues."
