Leesville - Services for Fay Iona Adams, 85, will be held at 3pm Monday, November 27, 2000, at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Gary Brandenburg and the Rev. Kathleen Panning will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Marvin and Tim Adams, Verne Caughman, Russell Durst, Martin Oxner, and Ronnie Swygert. The family will receive friends from 3-5pm Sunday at Charles R. Shealy & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Cedar Grove Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1220 Cedar Grove Rd., Leesville, SC.

Miss Adams died Friday, November 24, 2000. Born in Leesville, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Boyd and Lucy Addie Adams. She was an active member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, member of the 50 Plus Club and retired as a seamstress from Ridge Spring Sewing Plant.

Miss Adams was loved by all and enjoyed working in her flower beds. Surviving are her loving nieces and nephews to whom she supplied love and inspiration. Miss Adams was predeceased by three sisters and 5 brothers. © The State, Columbia, SC, 26 Nov 2000.
