Wade Adair Fanning, 67, of Pulaski, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at his home.

He was born in Pulaski March 28, 1943 and was the son of the late Sidney Adair and Bertha Bentley Fanning.

Mr. Fanning was an employee of Walmart, who also volunteered his time for 20 plus years as a fireman for Pulaski and Dublin fire departments. He was a member of the Heritage Church, Dublin.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Rasnake Fanning; daughter, Kimberly Paige Fanning; sister and brother-in-law, Diane F. and Tommy Parker; grandchildren, Austin A. Mullins, Parker D. Mullins and Jaelyn S. Fanning; step-children, Jennifer Lynn Linkous, Suzanne Elaine Stewart and Brian Keith Stewart; and step-grandchildren, Megan Catherine Zalecki. Bethany Sara Zalecki, Elijah Michael Zalecki and Lorilai Micaele Linkous.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at 3 p.m. from Heritage Church, Dublin, with the Rev. Mike Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visiting will be Sunday at the church, where the family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour.
