Edward Wells "Edgar" Whitford and Mary "Polly" Maxson
"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 30, No 22, p 3, May 28, 1874.
At Adams Centre, N. Y., May 11th, 1874, Mrs. Prudence Hull, widow of the late Joseph Hull, aged 67 years, 10 months, and 8 days. She was taken ill with congestion of the lungs, on Sabbath afternoon, and died Monday night. But though the summons was thus sudden, it did not find her unprepared. She was, through a long life, a loving and faithful follower of Christ. Hers was not merely a sentimental faith, but a faith shown by works. She was noted for her benevolence. She was always deeply interested in our denominational enterprises, and a generous contributor for their support. The Adams Church, of which she had long been a member, share with her family in this sudden bereavement.
