From the book, "The Fox Family of Kilcoursey, written by Phillip Fox, he writes:

"Maria Louisa Fox, b. Sept. 14, 1845, d. 1927; m. firstly Oct. 17, 1876 to Theodore (Thee) Colladay who died Nov. 17, 1881. He was a musician with the 11th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. They had two daughters; 1. May Colladay, b. May 7, 1878, died the same day. 2. Nellie Josephine Colladay, b. May 11, 1879, d. July 31, 1881.

Maria was married secondly Oct. 22, 1890 to Patrick Geraughty who was born March 17, 1839 in County Galway, Ireland. He was a member of a band in Stoughton, Wis. and joined with his fellow band members in enlisting in the Union Army during the Civil War. He became a Captain in Co. F, 17th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment, serving in that unit for three years. He and Marie lived in Leavenworth, Kansas; they had no children."

As a note: Patrick applied for a pension as an invalid in Kansas. On January 28, 1926 Maria applied as a widow in Wisconsin so it is believed that she returned home following his death.
