Lindsay M. Jackson was the fourteenth of sixteen children who was born to Rev. William R. and Mahala (Cooper) Jackson, my double great-great-great-grandparents. His first name comes from his father's Bible record since his headstone only includes his initials of "L. M." His date of birth on the headstone is May 4, 1862, but it is June 4, 1864, in his father's Bible record. His date of death in the Bible record is July 28, 1864.
