Conrad Greenwald was born April 26, 1875 at Frank, Russia. In 1901 he married Magdalene Batt, who was a true life's companion until his end. The family came to American in order to seek a new home. They landed first in Lincoln, Nebraska, they came a few months later to Ft. Morgan, Colo., where they farmed. 1928 he bought a farm in the vicinity of Windsor, Colo., where the family also lived. The Lord blessed Brother Greenwald in his occupation, so that all went well with them. He and his family were members of our congregation here and supported it with strength. In March of this year he became ill with stomach pains (Gastric Ulcer) and on the advise of the physicians underwent an operation on July 27. Pneumonia set in and he died in his sleep August 5. Two sons and one daughter preceded him in death. His dear wife, four sons, four daughters, five grandchildren and one brother mourn his departure. May the God of all comfort, console the survivors. Pastor George Batt officiated at the funeral.
