JACOB BUSCH 1875-1965
Funeral Held Saturday For Jacob Busch, 90---Funeral services for Jacob Busch of Greeley, 90, formerly of Windsor, were held Saturday afternoon at St. Paul's Congregational Church in Greeley. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery.
Busch died last Wednesday afternoon [Dec. 15, 1965] at the Weld County Nursing Home.
Born in Dittle [Dietel], Russia on Nov. 23, 1875, he married Mary Katherine Helterman [Hilterman] at Oleschnaja [Oleschna, Dietel), Russia, on Feb 10, 1904. The couple came to the U.S., in 1907, settling in Windsor. Later, they farmed in the Severance and Eaton areas. Upon retiring in 1944, the couple moved to Greeley. Mrs. Busch died in 1959.
Survivors include seven sons and daughters; Mrs. Molly Wolfe of Greeley; Sam of Fort Collins; William B. of Rocky Ford; Rueben of Vallejo, Calif.; Mrs. Lydia Carrick of Omaha, Nebr.; Mrs. Martha Gallupe of Colorado Springs; and Benjamin of Garden City, N. Y. Also surviving are one brother and one sister, George Busch of Windsor and Mrs. Maria Bauer of Russia; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. (Windsor Beacon, Windsor, Co, Dec 23, 1965)
