Ronald Wayne Bolte was born January 4, 1941, in Smithton, Pettis County, Missouri, the son of Sue Marie Smith and her first husband Frederick Gavert "Fritz" Bolte.

Ronald's father Fritz was killed in an auto accident after a fishing trip when Ronald was just 10 months old. For a time after the death of his father, Ronald with his mother and older sister lived with his paternal grandfather, John Bolte. Ronald's mother Sue then married Roy Edward Miller on October 25, 1946, in Smithton, Pettis County, Missouri.

Ronald servued with the U. S. Navy during the Viet Nam war from March 1960 to April 1964.

Ronald married twice, his second wife was Judy Mae (Rush) Malchert whom he married on October 12, 1990, in Jackson County, Missouri. Judy was born May 15, 1948. She had been previously married (divorced) to Robert L. Malchert (1947-2002).

Ronald died August 8, 1992, in Blue Springs, Jackson County, Missouri. Judy died December 4, 2003, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

Ronald W. Bolte , 51, Blue Springs, died Aug. 8, 1992, at St. Mary's Hospital of Blue Springs. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Webb-Freer Chapel. Military graveside services will follow at the Blue Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the home of Richard Bolte , 1706 Walnut, Blue Springs. Mr. Bolte was born in Smithon, Mo., and moved to Blue Springs in 1956. He was a construction plumber and a member of Local No. 8 of the plumbers union. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Blue Springs post of the American Legion. Survivors include two sons, a daughter, and his parents all of Blue Springs; and three grandchildren.
