Rose first married a man with the last name of Lewis or Guin about 1905 in Virginia. Mr. Guin died sometime prior to 1910. Rose later married William B Alexander on Jul 1910 in Virginia. Rose and William did not have any children. After the death of her husband William in 1940, Rose went to live with her nephew, Ralph M Browning and niece, Sara Eidson Browning in Gwinnett County, Georgia and Dekalb County, Georgia.
