Mrs. Sulie Ackerman Cooper, the widow of Charles T. Cooper of Andrews, died Tuesday, February 21, 1961, in Georgetown County Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Cooper was born March 26, 1885, in Williamsburg County. She was a daughter of Robert Ackerman and Mrs. Argent Rowell Ackerman.
She was survived by four sons, Robert Phillip Cooper, Charles Floyd Cooper, Clevie Tillman Cooper, and William Dempsey Cooper, all of Andrews.
She was predeceased by a son, John Ellis Cooper, and a daughter, Ethel Lee (Marion) Ayers.
Funeral services were Thursday, February, 23, 1961, in Suttons Methodist Church. The pastor, the Rev. Thomas Summer, and the Rev. Johnnie Owens officiated. Burial, directed by Mayer Funeral Home, followed in the churchyard.
