Sarah "Sadie" Lovelace Headley, 80, a native of Lauderdale County, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at her residence. She was a member of New Hope Church of Christ and a beautician.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at New Hope Church of Christ, with Carl Seigenthaler officiating. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Headley was preceded in death by her first husband, Leslie Lovelace, and a daughter, Jan Lovelace.
She is survived by her husband, Ben Headley; sister, Katherine (Kitty) Womble; nieces, Sharon Winter and Nancy Duplissey; stepsons, Gary and Tommy Headley; and stepdaughter, Susan Young
Pallbearers will be Kenny Winter, Wayne Womble, Jason Womble, Chris Bolden, Justin Bolden and Eddie Pitman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Hope Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
