SERVICES HELD HERE SATURDAY
Services were held Saturday, July 9, in the McMinnville Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. for Ida Boatman King, for 23 years a resident of McMinnville, who passed away here Wednesday, July 6, at the age of 84 years, 8 months, and 22 days. She had been a resident of 931 East 7th Avenue.
Mrs. King was born in Napa, California October 14, 1864, and was married to Ira King, who preceded her in death, July 27, 1924.
Surviving the deceased are two sons, Clyde M., Sheridan, and Gail W., Carlton; two daughters, Mrs. Vaughan Bargenholt, El Paso, Texas, and Mrs. Helen Hanville, McMinnville; as well as 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived also by a sister, Minnie Smith, who lives in this city.
She was a member of the Christian church, and Rev. Grant Cole of that church officiated at the service. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial park.
