Retired from American Airlines, March, 1977. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Verdigris, Ooklahoma.
Married Helen (Warren) in 1935 in Clifty, Arkansas and moved to Oklahoma in 1942.
Preceded in death by his wife in 1997 and son, Arthur Vernon in 1986.
Survived by second wife whom he married January 15, 2000; two sons; one daughter and son-in-law; and twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Service will be held Monday, October 16 at 10 a.m. at Verdigris Assembly of God in Verdigris, OK with interment in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, OK. Under the direction of Oliver-Whisenhunt Funeral Services.
