MACON - Doris Joiner Wood Hill, 92, died January 25, 2005 in a local nursing home. Rev. Darrell Watson and the Rev. Glynn Cranford officiating. Burial will be at 3P.M., at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Washington County. Mrs. Hill's grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
Mrs. Hill, wife of the late Ralph Ennis Wood and James T. Hill, was born in Washington County and had lived in Macon since 1952. She was a member of Shurlington Baptist Church and the TEL Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her children, Wendell (Barbara) Wood, Ralph Wade (Barbara) Wood, Judy Rose (Milton) and Connie Ward (Bob); ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Copeland of Macon and Alice Fowler of Dublin.
