My Grandma Angela was a woman deeply loved by her family, especially her 13 children. As a young mother, Angela traveled to San Francisco from Hawaii with her husband John Arthur Gill and their first two children. After taking up residence in San Francisco, John and Angela added 11 more children to their family.

Family members recall Angie being a very kind, sweet and caring woman who was a dedicated mother. Angie lovingly tended to her growing family despite being afflicted by a debilitating case of rheumatoid arthritis. Unfortunately her illness eventually resulted in Angie having to relinquish care of her four youngest children to relatives.

Angela passed away at the 5th Avenue Convalescent Hospital in San Rafael, California where she had resided for several years. Her adoring sons and daughters had faithfully visited their mother at the care facility. Holiday's often found Angela's room filled with extended family including her many grandchildren. Angie's bedside table drawers were kept full with boxes of See's candies which she would gift to her nurses.

In addition to her large family of 7 daughters, 6 sons and numerous grandchildren, Angie was survived by her little sister, Lillie, half-sister Rosie and half-brothers Arthur Lewis and Edward Davis Camara. Angie's parents, husband and brother William Cabral, pre-deceased her.

Angie's maternal Grandparents were Louis de Jesus, Find A Grave #67815658 and Mary Gomez de Jesus, Find A Grave #67815756.
