Mrs. Culler, 89, of Meadowview Terrace Assisted Living and formerly of Winston-Salem, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 in Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM tonight, Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronnie Stewart officiating. The family will greet friends beginning at 7:00 PM until time for the service. Interment will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 14, in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall, NC.
Maye was born November 11, 1917 in Gibson, IL, a daughter of the late Edgar Isaac and Thelma Faye Sumner Kreps. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Evans and Paul Huntley, by her son, Wade Evans, and by her brother, Delbert Kreps.
Surviving are her step-children, Anne H. Gaddy of Wadesboro, Ed Huntley, Sr. and wife, Joyce, of Lilesville, and Dennis and Steve Culler, both of Florida; step-grandchildren, Anita M. Winfield and husband, Kenneth, Doug P. Martin and wife, Lisa, and Michelle C. Spencer and husband, Billy, all of Polkton, Ed Huntley, Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Wadesboro, and Cindy H. Teeter and husband, Steve, of Lilesville; step great grandchildren, Kevin Winfield and wife, Carmen, Gary Winfield, Craig and Craisen Martin, Justin Huntley and wife, Ashley, Denah and Jonathan McCormick, Joshua Jarman and Jeremy Spencer, all of Polkton, and David Spencer and wife, Katie, of Colorado; step great great grandchildren, Brittany and John Michael Crowley, Baily Winfield and Jarod Spencer; and her cousin, Lee Fink and Donna of Merritt Island, FL.
