Macon, Ga. _ Glenn Childers Pool, 75, died Thursday at Emory Hospital, Atlanta.

Born in Hattiesburg, Miss., he was a son of the late Otha R. S. and Nora Jones Pool. He was married to the late Winifred S. Pool.

He was retired regional vice president of Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Co. Mr. Pool was a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He formerly taught at Lees McRae College in Banner Elk, N. C. Mr. Pool was former superintendent of Eutawville and Kershaw public schools for many years. He was a Naval officer, having served in World War II. Mr. Pool was a member of Vineville Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Richard B. and Otho S. Pool of Columbia, S. C.; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Bell and Mrs. Charlotte Jackson of Columbia, S. C.; and his step-mother, Mrs. Nellie Pool of Columbia,
S. C.

Services will be held at 3 p. m. Sunday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, Columbia, S. C. conducted by the Rev. James W. Anderson. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Columbia.

Pallbearers will be Cliff Judy Jr., Otho S. Jr. and Glenn Steven Pool, Hugh and Joe Bell and Chris Lomas.
