Sharon Burnham Pressett was called home by our Father in Heaven, March 17, 1993.

She was born in Salt Lake City to Beatrice and Warren Kendall Burnham on June 16, 1939. Married Eugene Pressett Jr., August 20, 1965. She graduated from East High School; attended the University of Utah and received a BS degree from Utah State University. She taught in Carbon County high schools and was later involved in Adult Education programs in the Granite and Jordan School Districts. At the time of her death, she was the Adult Education Coordinator for the Jordan School District.

Serving others was her joy in life. She held many leadership positions in numerous community and religious organizations. Sharon was a member of the LDS Church. She served as Relief Society President, Young Women President, Primary President, and various teaching positions in each of these organizations. She was a very thoughtful and generous person, always putting others before herself. She loved to teach and share her talents with others. She was full of energy. Her life centered around family and friends. She was a great support to her children and loved attending every activity they were involved in. The simple things in life brought her the greatest joy.

Survived by her husband, Eugene Jr.; daughters, Suzie and Natalie; son, Nathan Eugene; three sisters and two brothers, Arlene Holladay, Salt Lake; Marilyn Durrant, Provo; Janeen Tahauri, Covina, California; Kendall Burnham, Las Vegas, Nevada; Larry Burnham, Manalapan, New Jersey; also many special relatives, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services Monday, March 22, 1993, 12 noon in the Midvale Utah LDS Stake Center 425 Jackson St. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the stake center from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
