Mrs. Elmira Moore, for many years a resident of Madison township, died at the home of her stepson, Harry Moore, Frankfort's chief of police, Saturday, at the age of 89. She was a daughter of James and Margaret Cornelison. She was married to Wm. H. Moore in 1884, and, prior to moving to Frankfort, the family lived just east of Wild Creek.

Mrs. Moore was a member of the Methodist church, and her funeral service was conducted by Rev. C. M. McClure, at the home, Monday forenoon. The burial was in the Providence cemetery.

The W. H. Moore home in this township is now owned by the W. B. Combs estate.
