Melvin L. Barrick, 81, formerly of Rye Twp., Perry County, died Thursday in Susquehanna Center, Harrisburg.
He was a retired crane operator for the former Pennsylvania Railroad and New York Central Railroad.
Surviving are two sons, Robert J. of Duncannon and Richard L. of Marysville; four daughters, Mrs. Freda M. Baker of Marysville, Betty A. Michael of Rye Twp., Velma Thompson of Perdix and Beryl VanDusen of South Carolina; 29 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Rye Twp.
