Virginia F. Beckwith, 90, formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday, Oct. 10, in Mesa, Ariz.
She was born May 5, 1925, near Lincoln, daughter of Albert and Frieda Lorenz. She married Donald E. Beckwith on April 2, 1945, in Alameda, Calif.; he died in 1996.
Virginia was employed at Norwesco, Grundy Center, retiring in 1987.
Survived by two brothers, Albert of Grandy Center and Eldon of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Nancy Koch and Sharon (Jim) McGrane, both of Arizona, and Carla (Mark) Nash of Cedar Falls; a son, Donald (Roberta) Jr. of Council Bluffs; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, two brothers and a great-granddaughter.
Inurnment in Washington Township Cemetery, Morrison, with a private family service at a later date.
