He married Darlene Harms on Aug. 22, 1952, in Waterloo.
He was employed at Aratex, for- merly Means Towel Service, where he was production manager for the past 10 years.
He served with the U.S. Marines during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert C. Jr. of Waterloo; a daugh- ter, Mrs. Vicky Lake of Waterloo; two grandchildren; two brothers, Al- bert "Bud" Jr. of Reinbeck and Eldon of Cedar Falls; and four sis- ters, Mrs. Evelyn Hansen of Cedar Falls,
