Donna 'Joyce' Richey
1939 - 2011
Donna "Joyce" Richey, 71, of Baker, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011.
Joyce was born on Aug. 9, 1939, in Denver, a daughter of the late Oscar Anderson and Burnette Long Anderson. Joyce was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, interior decorating, cooking, and many arts and crafts. Her family remembers her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Robert L. Richey of Baker; two sons, Douglas T. Richey of Baker, and Chad C. Richey and his wife Stacye of Indianapolis; one daughter, Michelle L. Richey of Fort Walton Beach; grandchildren, Andrew Richey, Avery Richey and Esther Anne Richey of Indianapolis; two sisters, Nancy Mason and her husband Don of Colorado, and Ruth Frasier and her husband Robert of California; a number of nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Annie Richey of Pennsylvania.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with a viewing at 1 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, 529 Clifford St., Fort Walton Beach. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetery in Baker.
Arrangements entrusted to Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road N.E., Fort Walton Beach.
