MURRAY - Ilene Wilson Bennett recently passed away.

Born Nov. 2, 1930 in Price to Kennith A. Wilson and Constance Cartmel Wilson. She lived in Miller Creek until she married Don R. Bennett in 1947.

She had four children; two sons, Dan and Mick Bennett; and two daughters, Pennie Bennett Cronin and Sherrie Bennett Chandler.

She lived in Price until the mid 1950s, then moved to Salt Lake and finally Murray.

She worked for 23 years in the school food service at Murray High School, 13 of those years as manager in the cafeteria.

Her whole life was devoted to her family, whom she loved dearly.

Riding her motorcycle through the beautiful Utah mountains was one of her favorite pastimes and passions with her little dog, Kooter, riding behind her in a milk box.

She loved deer hunting, camping and fishing.

She is survived by her husband, children, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother and one granddaughter.

A celebration of her life will be Tuesday, March 10, beginning at 1 p.m. at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 S. 900 East, Murray.
