HAGLER, PARTHENIA H. "POTTIE" - departed this life on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Mercy at St. Mary's Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born August 22, 1950 to the late Reverend Ernest (Willie M. Jefferson) Hall. She was a graduate of East High School in the Class of 1969. She earned a Certificate of Nursing Assistant with high honors at Virginia School of Nursing in West Virginia. She attended Mt. Moriah FBH Church. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, John Hagler; daughter, Shatonya; 5 sisters; 3 brothers;. She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Michael Hagler, Jr. and Jamika Cannon; four grandchildren; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; 1 sister-in-law; 2 devoted adopted sisters; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Monday, January 24, 2011 at Mt. Moriah FBH Church 5:30-6:00 PM with services to follow. Bishop A.L. Rogers officiating assisted by Elder Glenn Taylor. Interment at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Services to conclude with full dove release. Arrangements by Unity Mortuary.
