Services for Keither D. Heggins, of Hazlehurst, are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Damascus Baptist Church in Hazlehurst with burial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Mr. Heggins, 72, died Jan. 31, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Mississippi on Nov. 18, 1937, to Henry Heggins and Hettie Harvey Heggins.
He was employed with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in maintenance.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Heggins, of Hazlehurst; his sons, Donald Heggins, of Hazlehurst, Daniel Heggins, of Alaska, and Stephen Heggins, of Florence; his daughter, Sandra Chapman, of Mandeville, La.; and his five brothers and six sisters.
