Wesley George Dies Monday In County Hospital
Wesley M. George, 69, route 3, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday in Vermillion County Hospital. He had been ill for some time.
Born, February 17, 1895, at Montezuma, he was the son of Frank and Martha Long George. Mr. George was a member of the St. Bernice Nazarine Church.
Surviving are the widow, Hazel; a son Curtis A. of route 1, Hillsdale; a daughter, Mrs. Flossi Groves of Englewood, California; two brothers, William and Ben of Montezuma; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl McCarty and Mrs. Hazel Wilburn of Montezuma; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Frist Funeral Home, services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Nazarin Church in St. Bernice with Rev Marvin Patton officiating and burial to be in Sugar grove cemetery.
