Charles Oda Roberts
Funeral services for Charles Oda Roberts, 74, of 903 3rd Ave. SW, who died Saturday night at a local hospital, were to be today at 2 p.m. at Guntharp Funeral Home, Rev. Wilbur Smallwood and Rev. Jack Jones officiating. Burial was to be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ida B. Roberts; two daughters, Mrs. William C. Parker of Decatur and Mrs. Leon Bentley of Trinity; a granddaughter, Mrs. Marie Dutton of Decatur; three sisters, Miss Mary Roberts, Mrs. Annie Howell and Mrs. Velma McMillian, all of Decatur; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lorene Ready and Mrs. Irene Johnson, both of Decatur.
Nephews were to be pallbearers.
Mr. Roberts was a veteran of World War I and a Methodist. The body will remain at the funeral home until services.
