Mrs. Partlow was a native of Ashville, but had lived in Birmingham for 16 years and was an active member of the East Lake Methodist church. She was married to D.A. Partlow, Sept. 13, 1866. Funeral services were held at the residence with burial at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
Louisa Was a daughter of William Spruell (1827-1906) and Julia Ann ( - 1884) [Dearman] Beason and she appears with them on the 27 Jun 1860 census at St. Claair Co., AL. Louisa married David Alonzo Partlow, also buried here.
