Beulah Bledsoe
Duffield, Va. – Beulah Tyler Bledsoe, 91, formerly of Duffield, Va., died Wednesday (April 23, 1997) at Heritage Hall, Big Stone Gap, Va.
Ms. Bledsoe was born in Scott County, Va., on Oct 30, 1905, a daughter of the late Floyd and Alice Thomas Tyler. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter E. Bledsoe, in 1978; three sons, Robert D. Bledsoe, Foster Bledsoe and Ronald Bledsoe; and six sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Phyllis Bishop, Burke, Va.; one son, Hubert Bledsoe, Ontario, Ore.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bob Horne officiating.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carter-McKinney Cemetery.
