Baxter E. Bledsoe
Baxter E. Bledsoe, 75, died Saturday morning at his residence in Duffield following a long illness.
Born in Scott County, he was a member of the Peterson Chapel Baptist Church and was a retired remployee of the Southern Railway Co. Bledsoe was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bulah T. Bledsoe, Duffield; two sons, Hubert and Robert Bledsoe, both of Forrest City, Ark; one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Bishop, Burke, Va.; four foster brothers, Hollie Bledsoe, Duffield, Hillard Bledsoe Blackwater, Parkle Bledsoe, Clinchport and Cecil Bledsoe, Sugoinsville; tree foster-sisters, Mrs. Lewis Bledsoe; Church Hill, Mrs. Lucille Roberts, Kingsport, and Mrs. Myrtle Hammonds, Hollywood, Fla; four grandchildren and one great-grandchlid.
