Lois E. Langdon, 73, Iberia, died May 3, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center (Jefferson City). She was born April 6, 1927, in St. Louis, a daughter of Ralph and Mabel Culp Kemp. She was married to Edwin Hughes, who preceded her in death. She was married July 25, 1992, in Iberia, to Orville William Langdon, who died Jan 6, 1994.

A home health nurse, she was a member of St. Elizabeth First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one son, Ralph Hughes, Minneapolis; two daughters, Carol Joy Hughes and Rebecca Davidson, both of St. Paul, Minn.; three sisters, Esther Herzog, Iberia, Margaret Rombach, Chesterfield, and Catherine Vaughn, Winchester; and one granddaughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. William Chamberlain will officiate. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Rekus Funeral Home, Ieria. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Baptist Church.
