Mrs. Frances FLOOR ARNOLD, 47, formerly of Akron, was found dead at her home in Hammond Sunday.
She was born Oct. 17, 1920 in Kosciusko county to Orvan and Vera MARTIN FLOOR and had spent the past 30 years in Hammond.
Survivors are one son, Victor SLANAC, East Chicago; the father, Orvan FLOOR, Akron; one granddaughter, Machell SLANAC; six sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Phyllis) MUNSON, Warsaw; Mrs. Horace (Norma) BARR, Akron; Mrs. John (Janette) SMARZ, Chicago; Mrs. Donald (Cleo) PLUCKER, Claypool; Mrs. Roger (Gladys) GAFF, Nappanee; Mrs. Alonzo (Martha) HOWARD, South Bend, and two brothers, Orvan [FLOOR], Jr., South Bend; James FLOOR, Santa Monica, Cal. One brother and one sister preceded in death.
Last rites will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Sheetz funeral home at Akron. The Rev. Harry SHEARER of Bourbon will officiate. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
