Services Held Thursday For Dr. Frank Hampl
SCHUYLER - Aug 19 (Special)
Funeral services for Dr. Frank Hampl, 76, optometrist, who died at St. Mary's hospital in Columbus Tuesday were held at the Prucha funeral home in Howells Thursday afternoon. The Rev. B.A. Filipi of Clarkson officiated. Burial was made in the Howells cemetery.
Dr. Hampl was born in 1874 in Milwaukee, Wis. After residing for 40 years in Howells, two years ago he and his wife came to Schuyler to make their home. Dr. Hampl's first wife was Miss Barbara Papousek. After her death he and Mrs. Rosie Vrzak of Schuyler were married Aug. 12, 1933.
Dr. Hampl is survived by his widow; a son, Lumir of San Francisco; a daughter, Mrs. Emil Prusa of Howells; a sister, Mrs. Mary Koryta of Wilber; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by the following stepchildren: Edward Vrzak of Schuyler; Frank Vrsak of Howells; and Jerry Vrzak and Mrs. John Murphy, both of Spokane, Wash.
