John Whiteside, Sr was born about 1735 in Ireland and died about 1760 in Virginia. He married Mary Underwood daughter of John Underwood and Molly Brown in about 1753 in VA. They had three known children, including John Whiteside, Jr. who married Eleanor Kelly. Thomas Whiteside born about 1754 and Mary Whiteside born about 1756.
After John's death in about 1760, Mary married George Russell, Sr.
Due to the deteriorating condition of many markers, John Whiteside, Sr. may have had one in the past that failed to survive.
