OBITUARY
MRS. MARY KOVALYAK
Mrs. Mary A. Kovalyak, 71, of 435
Wylie Ave., Clairton, died yesterday in
McKeesport Hospital. A 50 year
Clairton resident, she was a member of
St. Clare Church, Clairton and its
Ladies Guild.
Born June 14, 1901, in Lynn, Pa.
She was the daughter of Mrs.
Anna Ondrik-Faron of Clarksburg, W.
Va., and the late John Faron.
In addition to her mother, she is
survived by daughters, Mrs. Betty
Trepanowski of Glassport, Mrs. Mary
Zaken of Elizabeth, and Mrs. Ann
Chorgo of Port Vue; sons, Paul of
Ketchikan Alaska, George of West
Mifflin, Joseph of Mt. Rainier, Md.,
Michael of Clairton and James and Dr.
John Kovalyak Jr. at home; sisters, Mrs.
Anna Warchola of Newark, N. J. and
Miss Catherine Faron of Washington
DC; brothers, Michael, Joseph and John
Faron Jr. of Clarksburg W.V. and
Andrew Faron of Kansas City, Mo.; and
15 grandchildren.
She was the widow of John Kovalyak.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 pm
today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm
tomorrow in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral
Home, Clairton. Requiem mass will be
offered Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Clare
Church by Rev. Thomas J. Walsh.
Burial will be in Ascension Cemetery,
Clairton.
