Al was born and raised in Atlantic City. He was a bartender at the Town Tavern in Atlantic City before becoming a Jitney Driver. He then spent winters in Florida as a Maitre d' at Nick & Arthur's in Miami Beach while driving a Jitney in the summers.
He later became a Captain at the Strand Hotel in Atlantic City and retired as Captain in the Capriccio Room at Resorts Casino Hotel. He was a member of Local 54 and the Knights of Columbus.
He will be especially missed by his loving daughter, Dolores Angelini; great grandson Brian Wright and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; Joseph and Rosina Cerminara, wife Thelma (nee DeGrazia); brothers Mario and Dimmie; sister Anne Battipaglia; granddaughter Christine Angelini Wright; and son-in-law Ernie Angelini.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Somers Point. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
