Harvey was born on a farm near Morrowville KS and died at his home in Munden KS. He was a US Army veteran and served in World War II in the Japanese Campaign. He received an Honorable Discharge and returned to Republic County KS where he worked for the Republic County Highway Dept for many years, first as a heavy equipment operator and later as a department foreman. Harvey married Mary Rosalie Sterba on 26 Dec 1947 and six children were born to this union. Funeral services were held Friday at St Georges Catholic Church in Munden and interment was at St Georges Cemetery with military honors.
