Lelia Hale Loghry, 89, Delta, Colo., formerly of Dixon, died Jan. 12, 2001, in Delta County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 24, 1911, in Miller County, a daughter of Samuel and Beulah Null Hale. She was married March 31, 1934, in Iberia, to Arthur Atwell, who died in 1959. She was then married in October 1959, in Crocker, to S.W. Samuelson, who also preceded her in death. She was married in 1985 in Riverton, Wyo., to Gerald Loghry, who survives at the home.
She was an elementary school teacher and freelance writer. She wrote a weekly column for the Riverton Ranger in Colorado. She taught Sunday school for many years.
Other survivors include: one daughter...; four brothers...; two sisters...; several stepchildren; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today and from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.
