Schwieterman Rites Tuesday. John Gerhard Schwietermaen. 97, of St Elizabeth, died Saturday at St Marys Hospital. Mr Schwietermen was forn July 8, 1871 in Montezuma, Ohio, the son of Henry and Mary Meinerding Schwietermen. He was married May 30 1893 at St Thomas, to Miss Martha Christina Schell, who died in April 1963. He was a graduate of St Brancis COllege in Milwaukee, Wis., and was a member of the St Lawrence Catholic Church.in St Elizabeth, where he was an organist for over 65 years. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society. Survivors include two sons, Larry Schwietermen. Jefferson City, Albert Schwieterman, Kansas City; three daughters Mrs. Rose Schlueter, St Thomas, Mrs. Emma Luetkemeyer and Mrs. Tilly Oligschlaeger, both of St Elizabeth; 17 grandchildren. and 60 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the St Lawrence Catholic Church, St Elizabeth Rev. Ferdinand Bonn will officiate. Bruial will be in the parish cemetery. A rosary will be prayed at 8p.m. today at the Stevinson Funeral Chapel in St Elizabeth.
