Henry Schwieterman died last Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jos. Falke, of this place, following an illness of about four months due to infirmities of age. He had been confined to his bed during this period, and died well fortified with the last sacraments of the Catholic Church. Mr. Schwieterman was born at St. Rosa on October 29, 1840, and was aged 83 years 5 months and 12 days. On June 12, 1866, he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Meinerding at Sebastian, and following their marriage resided on a farm near Guadalupe until about seven months ago when he and his estimable wife to Coldwater and made their home with their daughter. This union was blessed with three sons and one daughter, one son Charles, preceding the father in death last September. Surviving are the widow, two sons and one daughter, namely, John Schwieterman, of St. Elizabeth, Missouri, and Mrs. Jos. Falke and Frank A.C. Schwieterman, of this place. One brother, Joseph Schwieterman, resides at Sebastian. There are living 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The deceased was a kind and provident husband and father, an excellent neighbor and faithful and upright member of the Catholic Church. He was also a member of the St. Joseph's Men's Society of the Holy Trinity congregation and the St. Joseph's Men's Society of Guadalupe. He was well known in this part of the county and his honesty and upright life made him many personal friends, who are pained to lear n of his death. Funeral was held at Holy Trinity church on Thursday morning, Rev. Louis H. Yauss officiating. Burial was at St. Elizabeth cemetery
