Attended schools in southeastern Colorado and Frederick, CO. In eighth grade won Young Citizen's League regional public speaking contest and was elected state YCL vice president.
Married Truman W. Brown 1959, divorced 1978.
Worked in banking for eight years prior to disabling auto accident. In subsequent years enjoyed volunteer opportunities as health permitted.
Preceded in death by grandparents, mother, father, stepmother Dorris Murry; and infant nephew.

(Angie) Brown of Greeley; brothers, Franklin (Sharon) Ratzlaff and Marvin (Linda) Ratzlaff; sister, Lois (Harold) Grubbs all of Longmont; granddaughters Morganne Kristine Brown and Savanna Rae Brown; grandsons Owen Thomas Brown and Aden Daniel Brown; cousins; nephews; nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.
