In the span of 21 years, they had at least 6 children together: (1) William "Pleasant" Anderson; (2) Hezzie Lee Anderson; (3) Ruby Dee Anderson; (4) Plezzie B. Anderson; (5) Walter Harrison Anderson; (6) Flossie Estle Anderson. After nearly 50 years of marriage, Claude's wife Bessie passed away when Claude was 70 years old.
