Mattie was a wife of John Nelson Stinson, she was buried on 17 Jan 1921.

"Life Journey Ended"
Mattie Cox was born in Derwin, Okla, April 17, 1889. She lived in Southeast Okla while she was a child.At the age of 20 she was baptized and united with Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to John Stinson, Dec 23 1909.
To their union 3 children were born. One child and her father having passed on.
She moved to Riverton, Oct 28, 1920. She passed away, and went to be with her God Jan 16 at 12 o'clock. She leaves to mourn her depature a loving husband; two children; a mother who is bedfast; two brothers and three sisters living in Okla.
She requested that "Nearer my God to Thee" be sung at her funeral.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Henry Hoar, pastor of the Assembly of God at this place. His___?__ was taken from Rev Henry Hoar. The remains were laid to rest in Riverton Cemetery.
We wish to thank the friends who so kindly assisted us during the sickness and death of our beloved wife, mother, daughter and daughter in law.

This obituary stated Mattie was born Apr 17, 1889 but on copy of Death Certification showed that she was born on June 20, 1889.
Also this obituary stated Mattie was born in Darwin, Okla but on Death Certif. showed she was born in Ark, Arkansas.
