Cal Bliler, 46 one of three partners in the firm of F.N.Goodman co, owners of the Parlor and Cash markets, died suddenly while at work in the Parlor market on Lincoln Square shortly before noon today. Altho he apparently had been in good health, it was thought that his death was the result of heart trouble. He collapsed suddenly at 11:30 am and was rushed to Decatur & Macon county hospital, but was found to be dead when the ambulance arrived.

He purchased an interest in the Parlor and Cash markets from Frank N. Goodman in 1929 when Mr. Goodman sold partnerships in the firm to both him and Bert Wallace, manager of the Cash market. The firm took the name of the F. N. Goodman Co. and Mr. Goodman retired from active management of the business. Mr. Bliler had been working for Mr. Goodman for ten years.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.C.Bliler and was born in Decatur May 25, 1890 and has lived here practically his entire life. For the last several years he has lived on S.Oakland Ave. Besides his wife Ethel Bliler he leaves two sons, Richard and William both at home. He also leaves his parents Mr.and Mrs. W. C.Bliler on W.Forest Ave. There are three brothers, Ervah, Chauncey and L Bliler and one sister Mrs.Troy M.Oder, all of Decatur.

The body is at Dawson & Wikoffs funeral but no arrangements are made
