Captain Eber Wilcox was born April 13, 1783 in CT and died December 8, 1870 in Summit County, OH of old age. He married Rachel Hurd and Grace Hotchkiss. He served in the CT Militia during the War of 1812 and is buried in Markille Cemetery.
